Jacob has a rich experience of driving M&A transactions. Jacob started his career with Price Waterhouse where he was instrumental in setting up their corporate finance practice. While at Price Waterhouse, he worked with a host of international majors for strategizing their India entry plans. Clients he has worked with include SAP AG, Qualcomm, British Telecom, Amway, Corning etc. Subsequently, Jacob was Vice President (M&A) at DSP Merrill Lynch where he has driven landmark deals including acquisition of Coats Viyella's garment business by AV Birla Group, sale of Burnol & Coldarin brand assets, Dr Reddy's buy-out of American Remedies and sale of Diamond Dyechem to Ciba AG.
Jacob has a first degree in Engineering and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. |

Ramprasad

Ramprasad has a rich experience of driving M&A and capital market transactions. Ram initially worked with Essar Shipping where he headed the finance function and was involved in multi fold financing activities and acquisition of South India Shipping Corporation by Essar. Subsequently, he joined DSP Merrill Lynch and was the Senior Vice President heading southern India operations. Ram has been engaged in several landmark transactions including India Cement's acquisition of Raasi Cements, SSi's acquisition of Albion Orion Corporation and Indigo Markets, sale of SPIC Phi seeds to Dupont, acquisition of Tata Group's Hitech Drilling by Aban Loyd, Bank of Madura- ICICI Bank merger and international capital raising programmes of Dr Reddys laboratories, Sify, Satyam Computers and SSi.
Ram has a first degree in Chemistry and is an MBA from BIM, Trichy. |

Sunil Mehra

Sunil has 20+ year of experience in M&A, private equity and equity corporate finance areas. He was earlier with Standard Chartered Bank as Managing Director driving the India M&A business and with DSP Merrill Lynch before that with the investment bank, where he led coverage efforts for large Indian conglomerates and subsequently headed the healthcare sector coverage working closely with global pharma teams at Merrill Lynch. Sunil was with ABN Amro and Kotak Mahindra Capital prior to that. Some key transactions that Sunil has been involved with include Tata Chemicals acquisition of General Chemicals, Cimpor's acquisition of Digvijay cement, Mylan Labs acquisition of Matrix Labs, Realignment of the metals business by Aditya Birla group, Tata Motors acquisition of the truck business of Daewoo motors, ADR issuance by Dr Reddy's Labs and Convertible bond issuances by Lupin, Panacea Biotech, Tata Motors and Tata Chemicals.

Deepak has close to 20 years experience in Financial Services sector with wide ranging experience in the fields of capital market, structured finance, private equity, corporate lending, restructuring and advisory services. Well networked with Indian corporates, he has led successful origination and closure of several complex transactions involving capital raising and advisory services in diverse industries such as Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hospitality, Engineering and FMCG. Previously, Deepak has worked with different groups such as ESSAR, RPG, Brescon and Meghraj. He also had a brief stint with SMC Group wherein he was instrumental in setting up investment banking business.

Mahesh Bhagwat

Mahesh has been associated in different capacities with the Indian equities market since 1992, having worked as a dealer, salesperson, proprietary trader and then finally as the Head of the Derivatives Desk at ICICI Securities. The experience as a proprietary trader has been particularly useful in recent times as the market looks for alternative investment strategies. This experience will help MAPE ADMISI Securities’ focus on providing extensive alternative investment strategies to Institutional Investors.

Samir Gilani

Samir has been associated with global financial markets in different capacities since 2002, starting off his career in M&A in Canada where he was part of the deal team involved in the largest oil/gas merger in North America. Before his return to India, Samir had the opportunity to work in several other areas including portfolio management, private equity, corporate banking and private client research. His diverse international experience in the field of financial services helps him provide insightful ideas to both Indian and overseas clients.

Akshay Dixit is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters Degree in Commerce from Bombay University. He has also cleared all three levels of the CFA examination. |

Abhishek oversees the life-sciences practice at MAPE. Before MAPE, he worked at Fidelity Investments as an industry analyst covering the global pharmaceutical sector. Abhishek gained domain expertise while working in the R&D Management at Torrent Pharmaceuticals managing the new drug discovery program with an added exposure to US Generics.

He Has advised several clients and transactions involving sale or fund raising for Oil & Gas assets, oil field services companies, port services, onshore and offshore rigs, Engineering, Procurement and Construction services, Telecoms infrastructure, Clean Energy including solar, thermal, wind, bio mass projects, among others. Prior to MAPE, was with Arthur D Little, a global strategy consulting firm focusing on the Middle East and South East Asia markets.
