Jacob Mathew
Managing Director & Co-founder

has a rich experience of driving M&A transactions. Jacob started his career with Price Waterhouse where he was instrumental in setting up their corporate finance practice. While at Price Waterhouse, he worked with a host of international majors for strategizing their India entry plans. Clients he has worked with include SAP AG, Qualcomm, British Telecom, Amway, Corning etc. Subsequently, Jacob was Vice President (M&A) at DSP Merrill Lynch where he has driven landmark deals including acquisition of Coats Viyella's garment business by AV Birla Group, sale of Burnol & Coldarin brand assets, Dr Reddy's buy-out of American Remedies and sale of Diamond Dyechem to Ciba AG.

Jacob has a first degree in Engineering and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Ramprasad M
Chairman and Co-founder

has a rich experience of driving M&A and capital market transactions. Ram initially worked with Essar Shipping where he headed the finance function and was involved in multi fold financing activities and acquisition of South India Shipping Corporation by Essar. Subsequently, he joined DSP Merrill Lynch and was the Senior Vice President heading southern India operations. Ram has been engaged in several landmark transactions including India Cement's acquisition of Raasi Cements, SSi's acquisition of Albion Orion Corporation and Indigo Markets, sale of SPIC Phi seeds to Dupont, acquisition of Tata Group's Hitech Drilling by Aban Loyd, Bank of Madura- ICICI Bank merger and international capital raising programmes of Dr Reddys laboratories, Sify, Satyam Computers and SSi.

Ram has a first degree in Chemistry and is an MBA from BIM, Trichy.

Mahesh Bhagwat
Head Equities

has been associated in different capacities with the Indian equities market since 1992, having worked as a dealer, salesperson, proprietary trader and then finally as the Head of the Derivatives Desk at ICICI Securities. The experience as a proprietary trader has been particularly useful in recent times as the market looks for alternative investment strategies. This experience will help MAPE ADMISI Securities’ focus on providing extensive alternative investment strategies to Institutional Investors.

Mahesh has an first degree in Engineering and a post graduation in Management Studies from Bombay University.

Neeraj Kohli
Chief Operating Officer

was previously Vice-President – Operations for MAN Financial Sify Securities (formerly known as Refco - Sify Securities). He was responsible for setting up Indian operations for the firm and establishing it’s niche position as a cash and derivatives trading firm. Neeraj began his career with Stock Holding Corporation of India, the country’s leading domestic custodian and has a rich experience of 13 years in the Indian financial services industry. Neeraj has deep understanding of the Indian capital and commodities markets, functioning of the exchanges and risk management systems.

Neeraj has a first degree in Physics and an Advance Diploma in Management from AIMA.

R Jayakumar
Senior Director

has nearly three decades of rich experience in financial services in India. He was the first employee of CRISIL, where he was involved in setting up rating criteria for various debt capital market products as well as rating large corporate institutions and banks. Subsequently he headed the financial institutions group at DSP Merrill Lynch, where he undertook capital raising by way of ADR’s for ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. He was also involved in the M&A transaction of Bank of Madura and ICICI Bank. He has also worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Fitch Ratings.

Mr. Jayakumar has a first degree in engineering from IIT Madras and an MBA from IIM Calcutta

Vikas Deep Gupta
Director

Vikas has more than 6+ years experience in M&A and capital raising. In the past 4 years at MAPE Vikas has closed deals for companies like Wipro, Crisil, Hathway, Karvy and L&T. Prior to joining MAPE, Vikas was part of ICICI Securities' corporate finance team and worked on transactions related to financial re-structuring and M&A. Vikas also worked with Satyam for 3 years in technology.

Vikas has a first degree in engineering from REC, Jalandhar and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Nimesh Salot
Director

has nearly 14 years of rich experience in investment banking and advisory in India. He has serviced a wide spectrum of clients including MNCs and Indian corporates. Prior to joining MAPE he has worked with Rabo India Finance and Ernst & Young India, where he was involved in mergers & acquisitions and private equity fund raising.

Nimesh is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant.

Deepak Shandilya
Associate Director

has more than 12 years of experience in the fields of capital raising and business development and has serviced a wide spectrum of clients including MNCs and Indian corporates. Deepak has previously worked with Essar Group, RPG Group, Brescon Corporate Advisors and Meghraj-India.

Deepak has a first degree in Engineering from REC, Allahabad, and an MBA from JBIMS, Mumbai.

Prabhu Antony Lucas
Vice President

Prior to joining MAPE, Prabhu has worked for more than 7 years in the technology sector for companies such as i-Flex, Satyam and eSpace, where he managed international business operations across US, UK, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He is also a member of the Standard & Poor's - Society of Industry Leaders Network for the technology vertical.

Prabhu holds a first degree in Engineering and an MBA from School of Management, Anna University.

Bhooma Varadrajan
Associate Vice President

Prior to joining MAPE, Bhooma Varadrajan was associated with Infosys where she was a part of its Financial Services practice in her capacity as domain expert. Before Infosys, Bhooma Varadrajan worked with the National Stock Exchange in Bombay for seven years.

Bhooma Varadrajan has an MBA from BITS, Pilani.

Akshay Dixit
Associate Vice President

Prior to joining MAPE, Akshay has worked within the Financial Services Industry groups of Citigroup and Ernst & Young/ Arthur Andersen in their Investment Banking and Assurance divisions respectively.

Akshay Dixit is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters Degree in Commerce from Bombay University. He has also cleared all three levels of the CFA examination.
